Assoc. Prof. Robin Maialeh

Robin Maialeh is an economist and social scientist whose research bridges critical theory, economic policy, and socioeconomic inequalities. He earned his PhD in economics at the Prague University of Economics and Business and has held visiting positions at Princeton University and UC Berkeley. He is the Chair of the Board at the Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs (RILSA), Associate Professor of Economics at the UCT School of Business, and National Liaison Official of the Czech Republic at the UN-affiliated European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research in Vienna.

Anthony T. Lo Sasso, Ph.D.

Lo Sasso is a Professor and Driehaus Fellow in the Economics Department at DePaul University in Chicago. His research covers multiple areas of health and labor economics, health policy, and health services and outcomes research. Lo Sasso has secured funding from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and various private foundations. With over 80 publications, he is highly interested in how government policies influence private sector decisions and how market forces can be utilized to improve the healthcare sector and, ultimately, the health of the American public.
