Review procedure

Publishing of papers in the proceedings INPROFORUM is conditioned by a successful blind peer-review. The paper can be published in case of supporting recommendation.
The review procedure has several stages:
First, the conference scientific committee must approve the topic and abstract of the submitted paper.
After that, the review process of the registered paper follows.
Reviewers are selected from among the most renowned experts in their field on the basis of their proven qualification in the area discussed in the paper. Any of the reviewers is not allowed to be a staff of the same institution as the author or co-author of the submitted paper.

The reviewer’s decision can be:

a. Recommended acceptance (without changes)

b. To accept with minor changes (the reviewer states what changes are suggested)

c. To reject (the reviewer states what are the reason of rejection, the contribution would require significant adjustments.)

It is advisable to authors to see the questions the reviewers answer:

1. Does the title and abstract correspond to the paper's content?

2. Is the paper based on proper theoretical knowledge of the issue?

3. Is the methodological procedure used adequately to the solved problem?

4. Does the paper bring or can bring in future new scientific knowledge?

After a successful peer review process, there is an editorial review of the manuscript. In addition to the formal check, this check also includes a plagiarism check of the text. The final decision of accepting, revising or rejecting the paper is taken by the editorial board. All the papers are subject to copyediting. The final step before publishing the paper is the author´s editing.
